Greensburg Businesses Targeted In Graffiti Rampage

I would really respect any big, famous artist who spoke out about this kind of thing. Unfortunately, I doubt that will ever happen.

WESTMORELAND COUNTY (KDKA) — A parking garage, an outdoor amphitheater, the Palace Theatre and more places were all part of a graffiti rampage that happened over two nights.

At the Palace, they’re not applauding.

“Grow up,” said Mike Langer with the Westmoreland Cultural Trust. “The second thing would be: do you realize what you are doing? This is not an innocent prank.”

Police are moving in on the graffiti artists. Especially since surveillance video captured one woman in the act. Police say they believe she is a student at Seton Hill University.

Another unidentified guy also took part.

“We have one suspect that we are in the process of interviewing right now,” said Greensburg Police Chief Walter Lyons. “We hope and expect that there will be arrests sometime next week.”
